About Michael.

Michael Sutton has become one of the Midwest's most celebrated photographers, with more than two decades of experience behind the lens. The son of two interior decorators, this veteran photographer attributes his keen designer's eye and instinctive sense of style to his upbringing and his appreciation for aesthetics and the human form.

Since the beginning of time, the male physique has symbolized strength, vitality, and sensuality. It has served as the muse for some of history's greatest works of art, from the sculptures of ancient Greece to the civilizations of Africa, where humanity's earliest civilizations first flourished. The 21st-century man has evolved into an expression of confidence and refinement—not only in the way he looks, but in the way he embraces his individuality through fashion and self-expression. He is no longer confined by traditional masculine palettes or predictable patterns, but instead communicates personality through color, silhouette, and design.

Through his male fashion photography, Michael Sutton captures this modern man—one who is unafraid to express a deep understanding of himself through the confidence of what his clothing reveals about his character, aspirations, and way of life.

Within this genre of photography, there is room for every man to express his individuality and tell his own story.
